Self Injection Teaching Services
Injection therapy is a method of administering a
medication through an injection (“shot”) into
either the upper layer of fat (a subcutaneous
injection) or into a muscle (an intramuscular
injection). Injections can be administered by
either a nurse or a patient (after proper teaching).

If you choose to administer your own injections,
BioClin’s team of nurses can teach you how.

BioClin provides free self-injection teaching
services for patients referred to our following
medication program:

•        Simponi™ (golimumab)
•        Sterlara™ (ustekinumab)
When you arrive at our clinic, you will be asked
some basic health questions so that your nurse
can ensure that you can safely receive your
medication.

Each teaching session will take approximately one
hour and are scheduled in one of our clinics
closest to either your home or office.
